irridescent-druzy-pendant-on-apatite-closeup.jpg

You never know what you might find at Roundtop, the huge antiques show held twice yearly, between Houston and Austin, Texas.

I found this great druzy quartz pendant. Fortunately, I bought it. Unfortunately, I did not get the vendor’s card. Oh well. I was really on the hunt for some home furnishing, which I found.
I was anxious to make a necklace with it when I returned home.  I used apatite chips which really brings out the iridescence in the druzy. I named it Kaleidoscope Necklace because it reminds me of all the sparkling colors in one.
