I am excited to announce that The Funky Palette Art Gallery in Baton Rouge is now selling Archipelago Jewelry by Liz Juneau.

The owner Leigh Ann Maddox is an artist herself. The gallery is upstairs in Circa 1857 located at 1857 Government St.  They are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Phone no. is 225.636.2008.

Circa 1857 houses The Funky Palette plus various other artwork, antiques, architectural salvage, and Yvette Marie’s Cafe.

Yvette Marie’s offers sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts. My son, Peyton, just happens to work there, too!

There are some great shops in the area, too. So well worth a trip.  The photo above was made using a ammonite with pyrite fossil I purchased from Nature’s Treasures. It is located behind Circa 1857 and specializes in items from the earth, offering rocks and minerals, jewelry, wind chimes, blown glass creations, candles and more. Check out the links I included for more information.
