We awoke to a beautiful sunny morning in Solvang and decided to have breakfast at The Belgian Cafe′, a place we had peeked in on our evening stroll the night before. The cute, kitschy decor had gotten my attention and something sweet for breakfast was what I was craving after missing out the night before. I ordered the Belgian waffles with pecans and maple syrup. The waitress suggested adding bananas on top and who was I to argue…sounded good to me.

Afterwards, we visited Old Mission Santa Ines. It overlooks beautiful vistas of the Santa Ynes valley.
